The Indian Himalayas are perfect for Skiing, Owing to their great height they offer long and expansive runs for skiing and snowboarding. The Himalayas offer us long and vast powdered fields along with the potential of doing cross country runs of upto 20kms
About Auli: The Beautiful high altitude meadow of Auli also known as the Auli Bugyal is a perfect destination for skiing lovers, the slopes in Auli are perfect for both professional and novice skiers. Located 250 Kms from the railhead of Rishikesh the small hill town is surrounded by big Himalayan peaks and offers majestic views of peaks such as Nanda Devi, Dronagiri, Kamet etc.
With the average depth of 3 meters of snow Auli offers a skiing ground of 3 kms with the elevation range of 500m, it is considered to be a good skiing ground according to the international standards.
Zipping through meandering snow slopes is a feeling which can only be explained if you have experienced it yourself.
We are offering a six day Skiing programme during which you will learn the basics of skiing and practice your skills on the various slopes. The program offers you experienced instructors and skiing equipment in a safe environment.
Skiing is not difficult to learn if you just realize the fact that you are going to fall down a lot in the beginning and it’s perfectly normal.
The only concern we have is that we hope you do not get addicted to this exhilarating sport of Skiing.
